EKOSYSTEMY, s.r.o. Prievidza is a company engaged in the repair of railway freight wagons, their reconstruction, centralized repairs of spare parts and surface conditioning, including the blast cleaning.

The company is certified in terms of the Slovak and Czech regulations for wagons maintenance; however it is also capable to carry out repairs in accord with other regulations in case the customer has such requirements

The company’s workshop is located in the area of HBP, section Baňa Cígeľ, 972 05 Sebedražie, which has been on the Slovak market since 2003.

During this period, the company worked its way up into a competitive business that started to provide its services throughout the whole EU. Since 2020, it has expanded its portfolio with activities related to the sale of freight wagons.

EKOSYSTEMY, s.r.o. has a long-established integrated management system ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 3834-2 and 15085-2. In connection with the EU regulation, the company has owned the “Certification of Entities in Charge of Maintenance (ECM)” and “Maintenance Functions Certificate” for freight wagon repairs, since 2013.

In addition to the above-mentioned certificates, the company owns a decision from the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic to carry out technical inspections of railway freight wagons and authorization of professional competence from the Transport Office for:

• welding of railway vehicles
• carrying out assembly, repairs, reconstructions and revisions of ISO class 1 containers
• carrying out assembly, repairs, reconstructions of specified technical pressure devices
• non-destructive testing of railway vehicles

In addition to repairs of railway wagons, the company also performs surface conditioning of metal structures, reservoirs, containers, furnaces (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) in accord with STN EN ISO 8501 and STN EN ISO 12944.

We are technically, professionally and knowledgeably equipped to perform these works. We are equipped with a blast room, spray booth with a sliding rail and special measuring devices in accord with the regulation. We are able to apply coating materials at our factory, or travel to the customer with the needed equipment. We cooperate with prominent suppliers of coating systems such as Corrocoat, Sika Permacor, Lankwitzer, Hempel, for which we are a certified application company.

Depending on the customer’s requirements for the technical conditions of the coating system or the extension of the warranty period, we are able to prepare an alternative surface conditioning offer for the customer, which is always consulted with the supplier of the coating system.

In cooperation with HBZS o. z. we can apply coating systems even at height and in dangerous environments.
